The programme has been implemented since 1963 and was carried out non-formally with aims of providing exposure and guidance to rural communities towards creating the perfect family institution.
The PKK classes are carried out in KEMAS buildings such as Community Activity Centres, public buildings such as community halls, suraus, public halls, etc. These classes are also conducted through outreach, moving from one place to another based on the needs and demands of the local community.
These Community Developers for Family Wellbeing Education teach based on the curriculum set by KEMAS such as Family Relationships, Health, Resource Management and Civic Awareness.
Individuals who are interested in following these classes may obtain information at the nearest State or District KEMAS Office.
